Social networking sites can generate sales leads

Entrepreneurs are increasingly turning to social networking sites as a credit-crunch friendly way of boosting their business.

Kristian Segerstråle, chief executive of Playfish, a social games company, said social networks had given his company the ability to gain a huge audience in just a year with virtually no market expense.
