Korean steelmaker wins Toyota deal

Toyota is to buy steel from Posco for cars it makes in Japan, in a move that could help the Korean company become a major global supplier to one of the largest and most demanding consumers of the metal.

“We have decided to use Posco’s steel for some domestically produced cars from February,” Toyota said yesterday.
