BSkyB wins right to appeal on ITV

British Sky Broadcasting, the satellite broadcaster, has been given the green light to appeal against a ruling forcing it to sell its 17.9 per cent shareholding in ITV.

The Court of Appeal ruled in favour of BSkyB on Friday, six months after Britain’s Competition Appeal Tribunal ruled that the broadcaster would have to reduce the stake to below 7.5 per cent.
