BATM lands US contract

BATM will announce today that it has won a deal to supply telecommunications equipment to one of the world’s first fourth-generation mobile networks, which is being built in the US.

Although the Israeli-based company did not name its customer, industry analysts expect the partner is US group Sprint Nextel, which has earmarked more than $3bn (£1.5bn) in a fourth-generation wireless network using WiMax technology.
