Best Buy, the US electricals group, has pushed back the timing for its assault on the UK as it grapples with troubles in its own backyard.

Best Buy, together with its joint venture partner Carphone Warehouse, has now postponed the launch until the first quarter of 2010. It had planned to open its first store in the UK this -summer.
