Lehman to net more for dark pool

Lehman Brothers expects by the fourth quarter to have agreement from rival investment banks and other investors to take stakes in a new joint venture with the London Stock Exchange to launch a "dark pool" trading platform.

Dubbed "Baikal", it would be the first dark pool to involve both an exchange and a significant number of investment banks, assuming other banks are willing to invest in the project.
