Qantas hit by ‘high level of uncertainty’

Qantas Airways refused to give earnings guidance for its current financial year, blaming a “high level of uncertainty” in the market, as the Australian carrier reported an 87 per cent slide in full-year profits.

The cautious tone from one of Asia-Pacific’s most prominent carriers underlines the crisis gripping the airline industry.
