Cedomir Nestorovic is a professor of international marketing and geopolitics at Essec, where he has been teaching for more than 15 years. He is based at Essec’s Singapore campus.

Prof Nestorovic teaches a course in Islamic business and management, which covers topics as far ranging as Islamic finance, halal food management, the business of pilgrimage to Mecca and the business of Ramadan. Prof Nestorovic also teaches the marketing of Islamic banks.

He holds a PhD in geopolitics from Sciences Po in Paris, a masters in Soviet and east-European studies from Sciences Po and a masters in applied foreign languages from Paris Sorbonne University. Before joining Essec, Prof Nestorovic taught at Edhec in Lille, Iscid in Dunkirk and ESC Nantes. He was the keynote speaker at the Global Islamic Marketing Conference in 2011 and 2012.

His research interests include the geopolitics of central and oriental European countries, particularly of the Balkans; international marketing and politics and commerce. His working languages are French, English, Russian and Serbo-Croat.
