Fox Interactive to miss revenue target

Online advertising at Fox Interactive Media has failed to grow as fast as expected this year and the division of News Corporation that controls MySpace is likely to miss a $1bn revenue target.

Rupert Murdoch, News Corp chairman, first mentioned the figure in an earnings call last year when he said he would be “surprised” if FIM revenues did not exceed $1bn this fiscal year.
