Bhutto safe after Pakistan bomb blasts

More than 130 people were reported to have been killed when two powerful bombs exploded within yards of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto as she travelled in a convoy through Karachi.

Syed Kamal Shah, interior ministry secretary, said 133 people had been killed and 290 wounded.
