Honduras warns on breaks to credit flows

Honduras has warned that any interruption of multilateral credit flows to the impoverished Central American country would cause serious problems for the government’s spending plans and several infrastructure projects.

“The multilateral organisations have to gauge this carefully,” Gabriela Nuñez, the interim finance minister, told the FT in an interview. “We are partners, not clients, and they are multilateral development banks, not commercial banks.”
