Over recent years the most sophisticated legal minds in various continental European countries have spent time working to revise their country’s bankruptcy laws in a bid to give companies a greater chance of restructuring themselves.

How efficiently these laws and infrastructure cope with the growing number of financially-distressed companies could prove important to the ability of these countries to pull themselves out of the downturn.
