Everyone reacts to a crisis differently. Some fall apart, some seek help, others hope the experience will make them stronger.

The same goes for the world’s biggest banks, which have each reacted differently to the credit crisis. Some took quick action, while others denied the severity of the situation and chose to let the markets decide their course.
