Honda cuts expenses further amid downturn

When oil prices peaked earlier this year, it looked like Honda Motor might avoid the worst of the industry downturn.

Japan’s second-biggest producer specialises in smaller vehicles and does not have the most fuel-thirsty trucks and 4x4s in its line-up.
