Commercial real estate: High rents and low prices attract buyers

South Korea’s slowing economy is presenting golden opportunities for foreign investors interested in Seoul’s commercial real estate as astronomic values plummet in the glitziest areas of the capital.

Foreign pension funds and private equity firms are eyeing the distressed real estate market after the value of high-end buildings in downtown Seoul fell about 30 per cent from their peak last August, which has been accentuated by the weaker won.
