New boss for Orange UK

Tom Alexander, a founder and former chief executive of Virgin Mobile, is to be the new head of Orange, the UK’s third largest mobile phone operator.

Mr Alexander will replace Bernard Ghillebaert as chief executive of Orange UK’s mobile and broadband operations, which are part of the France Telecom group.
