Contemporary NY

The 20th annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) opens on Saturday in New York. As well as displays by 600 exhibitors, the ICFF Studio with Bernhardt Design presents the work of emerging designers, while dkVogue presents nine films about the history of Danish design. Events include conversations with designers Konstantin Grcic and Louise Campbell. Beyond the main exhibition, there will be numerous openings and launches around the city. For the Botanist Blank Canvas project, for the Orange22 Design Lab from Los Angeles, designers such as Yves Behar, Milton Glaser, Margo Chase and Karim Rashid have created eco-friendly indoor-outdoor furniture that can be viewed at Chelsea Art Museum.
