Dispute forces Google rethink on book scans

Google, the internet company whose mission is to make all the world's information available online, has suspended part of its controversial Google Print programme to give book publishers time to review new copyright proposals.

The Association of American Publishers (AAP) on Friday accused Google of turning an established copyright principle on its head.
