Livni and Netanyahu on key election issues

The governing centrist Kadima party and the opposition right-wing Likud party are the frontrunners in a tight race for the country’s February 10 parliamentary election, which takes place just three weeks after the end of the Jewish state’s 22-day onslaught in the Gaza Strip.

Following are the positions of Tzipi Livni, head of the Kadima party, and Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of the Likud, on key election issues.
