Surge in charity advice work from executives

Financial services executives are increasingly offering their skills to provide free advice to charities, even as their public image is battered by the economic crisis.

Pilotlight, an organisation that puts charities in touch with corporate managers volunteering their advice, has seen a jump in interest from working executives as well as those who have lost their jobs in recent months.
