Apple in shake-up of online video strategy

Apple has overhauled elements of its online video strategy following an admission yesterday by Steve Jobs, chief executive, that the company's early efforts had been a disappointment.

The changes involve an online rental service for films and a revamp of the Apple TV set-top box so that viewers can stream films from the internet, without the need for a computer.
