Philippines stronger, but challenges remain

For the tens of thousands of Filipinos who queued for as long as seven hours amid torrential rains on Wednesday to catch a last glimpse of beloved former president Corazon Aquino, the wait was well worth it.

They were able to capture the moment and share it with friends and family via their mobile phones, their ubiquity itself a legacy of the democratic rule instilled by Aquino.
