Skilled migrants 10 times better for economy

Immigration of skilled people is more than 10 times as valuable to the economy as the entry of unskilled workers, new statistical research shows.

The results provide some justification for the government's move to streamline the points system for aspiring immigrants to favour those with higher skills.
