Betsy Ludwig was on the fast track at a small private equity firm and determined to climb the career ladder all the way to the top. That is, until five years ago when she got married, became Betsy Ludwig Abdallah, and decided to have children.

Now, with her children aged three and one, the 37 year-old wants to go back to where she left off. But how? Early last Friday she joined 86 other "off-ramped" women from the London area for a "Back2Business" day at JPMorgan's headquarters in the heart of the City to find out.
