Yundi Li, 26, is a household name in China and famous round the world for being the youngest winner of the International Chopin Competition at the age of 18.

He is also the first pianist in 15 years to be awarded first prize. He has received glowing reviews for his performances and recordings with prestigious orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra of Japan, the Moscow Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra and the Hong Kong Philharmonic among others. He is the first Chinese pianist to record with Seiji Ozawa, conducting the Berlin Philharmonic under the Deutsche Gramophone label. He is based in New York, Beijing and Hong Kong. JACKET
