EMI in three-way US private equity war

Three US private equity firms are set for a £3bn ($6bn, €4.4bn) battle during the next two weeks for control of EMI, one of the world’s four largest recorded music groups.

Fortress, Cerberus and One Equity have all sent letters expressing their interest in buying the music group.
