Executive bonuses hold up, says Deloitte

Bonus pay-outs for executive directors in FTSE 350 companies are holding up even though more than 70 per cent will receive no pay increase this year, according to a report by Deloitte, the advisory firm.

Fewer bonuses are being paid in cash, however, and more companies are deferring a proportion of awards or including clawback provisions in case of disappointing performance.
