Craig Glenday leans over the table and nods conspiratorially towards the editorial floor outside. "We've done all the guidelines for a new world record. You could do it right now if you want. As long as you make a good stab at it, it would be yours."
It's tempting. Fifteen minutes of fame, there on a plate, the opportunity to set a new Guinness world record for the big metallic green book that has been shimmering like a bad migraine in bookshop windows for the past two months.
