FSA ‘monitoring’ copper market after Chinese trades

The Financial Services Authority, the UK markets regulator, said on Friday it was watching events in the copper market following controversial trades carried out by a Chinese trader.

“We are monitoring the situation,” said FSA spokesman David Cliffe, but declined to give further details.
