Boston Globe bidder will work with union

One of three parties interested in buying the Boston Globe is understood to be willing to work with the US newspaper’s largest union to structure a buy-out from the New York Times .

Stephen Pagliuca, a managing partner at Bain Capital private equity firm and an owner of the Boston Celtics basketball team, has emerged as a potential buyer and was said to be willing to discuss working with union leaders.
