Direct sales on the front burner

Malcolm Dunphy is an imposing man with a larger-than-life hobby – collecting antique fairground organs that make an enormously loud noise when coaxed into action.

Next to the room in Mr Dunphy’s family-owned business where he keeps the organs – which he turns on occasionally for lucky visitors – some quieter but resounding changes in how the business is run are under way.
