On the move: Ex-US secretary of state Zoellick joins Goldman

The exchange of executives between Wall Street and Washington DC continued this month when Robert Zoellick, the US deputy secretary of state and former US trade representative, announced he was joining Goldman Sachs as a managing director and vice-chairman.

Mr Zoellick announced his move just a few weeks after President George W. Bush picked Hank Paulson, Goldman’s chairman and chief executive, to be Treasury Secretary.
