Pensions slow to employ LDI

Pension fund decision makers are talking the talk when it comes to implementing a liability driven investment approach but not implementing the strategies, according to a global poll carried out by SEI's pension research panel.

The survey, which was completed by 226 pension executives across Canada, the Netherlands, UK and US, showed only 20 per cent were implementing an LDI approach and 33 per cent were not even considering LDI.
