JPMorgan Cazenove, the UK-focused stockbroker and investment bank, has sold its Asian business to Standard Chartered, the emerging markets lender that is also one of its corporate clients.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed and the final price will be determined close to completion in the first quarter of 2009.
