Euronext snubs latest D Börse offer

Euronext yesterday firmly rebuffed the latest overture from Deutsche Börse as "nothing new", even as German politicians said the latest proposals from the Börse had gone too far in making concessions that would cost jobs in Frankfurt.

Roland Koch, the premier of the German state of Hesse where Deutsche Börse is based, said the modified merger proposal was not in the interest of the region.
