Iceland's headline grabbing woes snowball across globe

It is not every week thatIceland grabs the headlines in the currency market, or any other market for that matter.

But, in possibly the ultimate example of the butterfly effect, this week's ructions in Reykjavik snowballed across the globe, setting off an avalanche of sell orders in emerging markets from Brazil to Indonesia.
