Chief eyes shake-up at scandal-hit MAN

Håkan Samuelsson, MAN’s chief executive, is set to unveil a revamp of the company’s internal controls on Wednesday in an attempt to overcome a bribery scandal that rocked the German engineering and truck conglomerate two months ago.

At a supervisory board meeting this morning, Mr Samuelsson will announce a plan to build up a compliance department that would sit alongside its existing auditing unit, people close to the situation told the Financial Times.
