BAA losses widen as Gatwick talks continue

BAA said on Wednesday it remained in talks with several potential bidders over Gatwick but cautioned that it would not sell the UK’s second largest airport if the price was not right.

The comments came as the UK’s largest airports operator revealed interim pre-tax losses for the six months to June 30 widened from £135.3m to £545.7m.
