Tube strike will cause massive disruption, says union

London Underground faces serious disruption next month from planned strikes by workers at Metronet, the failed contractor responsible for maintaining more than two-thirds of the network,unions said yesterday.

Metronet went into administration last month after securing only £121m of the £551m emergency funding it said it needed to carry on.
