Theft forces Belgacom to rush results

Belgium's finance directors were yesterday once again reminded of the need to keep a close watch on their briefcases, after a theft forced Belgacom to rush out its first-half results ahead of schedule.

The country's largesttelecommunications operator was originally due to publish its results on Friday, but instead had to release them yesterday morning,citing "unforeseen circumstances".
