IT delay holds Burberry back

Burberry will see the profit impact of sharply higher revenues mitigated by higher costs after deciding to postpone the next phase of its IT overhaul.

In a trading statement, the luxury goods brand reported a 19 per cent increase in revenue to £449m ($900m) in the six months to September 30, in line with analysts’ expectations.
