Costs force Wiseman warning

“Unparalleled pressure on costs” and lower returns from cream sales are expected to hit current year profits at Robert Wiseman Dairies, the milk processor warned as it reported results for the year to the end of March.

The shares fell 44¾p to close on Monday at 452¼p, as analysts cut profit forecasts for the 2009 and 2010 financial years.
