Zoellick begins push for World Bank post

Robert Zoellick on Tuesday begins a world tour to canvass support for his nomination to become president of the World Bank.

The US candidate will visit Ghana first, followed by Ethiopia and South Africa, before heading to Europe and Latin America. The trip shows the bank can expect a high-profile leadership style if Mr Zoellick’s nomination is approved following the public scandal that led to the resignation of Paul Wolfowitz.
