Nokia expects handset sales fall next year

Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone maker, yesterday issued a profit warning for the fourth quarter and said it expected global handset sales to fall in 2009.

The Finnish company's 2009 prediction underlines how mobile manufacturers are being hit hard by the global recession.
