Schaeffler seeks Conti chairman’s resignation

Schaeffler intensified its power struggle with Continental on Tuesday when the car parts supplier accused its rival’s chairman of “systematic sabotage” and demanded his resignation.

The privately-owned company said Hubertus von Grünberg, Conti’s chairman, should either resign and Schaeffler be given four board seats, or it would demand an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting to replace all 10 board representatives.
