Gottex Fund Management will on Monday begin pay-outs from the Swiss group’s flagship fund of hedge funds, one of the first big funds to suspend withdrawals when the industry hit crisis in the autumn.

Gottex wrote to investors in its $1.9bn Gottex Market Neutral Plus fund on Sunday to confirm withdrawals will be part-paid today and fees will be cut for those who remain.
