Go-Ahead gains but aims to cut costs

Go-Ahead continued to benefit from an increase in people turning to public transport but said it would cut costs as it forecast slower growth for the year ahead.

Britain’s busiest train operator reported a 33 per cent increase in revenue from its rail business in the final six months of last year, boosted by its new London Midland and Gatwick Express contracts.
