Women closing gender gap among entrepreneurs

The gap between the number of male and female entrepreneurs has closed following a big increase in women starting their own businesses, according to a leading study of the sector.

Women remain less than half as likely as men to create a business. However, the annual Global Entrepreneurship Monitor found the gap had narrowed significantly over the past 12 months.
