Young job hunters seek work through Twitter

One thing links the jobs of an MOT tester in Norwich, a librarian in Glasgow and a kitchen porter in Portsmouth: the listings for these positions are all less than 140 characters long.

As the number of young people looking for employment grows – it was announced in June that one in six 18 to 24-year-olds are unemployed – an increasing number of job hunters are turning to Twitter, the social networking website, to find work.
