Whenever he travels, jewellery designer Robert Tateossian likes to go shopping. In Cape Town it could be a fossilised shark’s tooth, in Las Vegas a gold nugget and in New York some uncut black diamonds.
But these items are not holiday souvenirs – once he is back in the office they are made into cufflinks, pendants and other items of men’s jewellery.
